Constraints: 45 watt heat load from an LED light for a retail spot light. Performance, life and maintenance were the primary design factors.

Solution: By direct mounting the LED package onto a Nanospreader™ and incorporating a stamped fin assembly matching the housing.

Results: The NanoSpreader™ solution exceeded the temperature reqirement by 6 degrees. Incorporating a passive solution assures zero maintenance beyond the life expectancy of the light source.
